About Us
The Otoe County Wildlife Club was founded in 1947 and was originally located on East 4th Corso in Nebraska City overlooking the Missouri River. It moved to its present location on 61 acres in 1970. In an effort to get more involved with conservation, the majority of the acreage had 1750 trees and shrubs planted the first year. These trees and shrubs were hoed and watered by hand by thirty gallon cans hauled from town. Seven nature trails, 400 species of plant life and wildlife abound on this property.
In 2017, the OCWC began updating its 4 trap ranges. The ranges have brand new trap machines, trap houses and walkways. We hope that these updates will improve the shooting experience for our visitors.
